Welcome!
![]() "HIS Arms Around Us" By Nick Berry
Our mission as a United Methodist Church:
To witness to Jesus Christ in the world,
and to follow his teaching through
acts of compassion, justice, worship, and devotion,
under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Greetings from the Senior Pastor Greetings and welcome to the Nichols Hills United Methodist Church web page. I believe that you will find a wealth of information about our congregation on this site. Please browse through the pages at your convenience and feel free to call the church office if you have any questions about any of our activities. We are a community of faith that believes in living out the Gospel of Christ. We want to help one another become fully mature disciples of Christ through worship, education, fellowship, and outreach. We have a special relationship with a community in Africa where we work to provide water wells, education and medical facilities. We support numerous outreach ministries in the Oklahoma City area and across the state of Oklahoma with our time and our resources. We believe in sharing the Gospel of Christ with our time and talents.
We are a congregation that enjoys meaningful worship. We expect to be challenged, encouraged, and nurtured when we meet weekly for worship. We know the value of excellence in our preaching, our music, and our relationships. Worship is at the heart of our community of faith. We enjoy sharing our worship with friends and visitors
We are a community of faith that enjoys learning and growing. We offer a variety of Sunday school classes as well as short term Bible studies and issue oriented learning opportunities. If you value learning more about Christ, the Bible, maturity in your spiritual life, and meaningful ways to express your growing faith, this is the church family for you. We offer Christian education for children, youth, and all ages of adults.
We are a community of faith that enjoys each other. All generations are represented in our congregation and we profit from the interaction between them when we fellowship together. We enjoy fellowship meals, entertaining programs, times of visiting and sharing the joy of being together. We are truly a “family” of faith.
We welcome visitors to all of the activities of our community of faith. If you are interested in participating in any of our activities, please know that you are invited and will be welcomed.
Blessings,
Randy L. Scraper
